His sire, KCF Isidoro (ARI # 32736311), Light Fawn, is a true champion who has sired many champions in his career. His dam, KCF Peruvian Bombshell (ARI # 35133090), a Dark Brown female, is also an impressive alpaca who resides at our ranch. This strong lineage adds to Madrone's value and potential. The Pacific Madrone Tree, also known as Arbutus Menziesii, is a tree native to the Western Coastal areas of North America, from British Columbia to CA. It is known for its striking appearance, with smooth reddish-brown bark and glossy green leaves that turn a beautiful bronze in the fall. The Madrone tree also has a lignotuber near ground level that provides fire-resistant energy storage and sprouting. This unique feature has made the Madrone tree an essential part of the ecosystem in western coastal areas. 9/22/24 Madrone is the sire to 2 female crias this year. The firstborn on 9/2/24, to Sawdust's Jarrah - now owned by Casey Alpacas - is named Keita. Our Sawdust's Chrysanthus was born on 9/6/24 to Sawdust's Jessinia. Chrysan weighed 17.4 lbs at birth and has been very active and independent since her arrival. She is very conformationally correct and has beautiful, medium-fawn, curly fiber, very much like her sires.
